Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Associate Principal to lead mid-scale, multi-discipline projects with growing independence. You will guide from programming through closeout, clarify requirements, coordinate design, and document decisions to meet quality standards.

You will mentor Designers and engineers, contribute to training resources, and help develop our system by improving templates, tools, and workflows while engaging with clients to build strong relationships and trust.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services.
Experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects.
Strong understanding of project delivery workflows and cross-discipline coordination.
Experience contributing to QA/QC workflows and GitHub Pull Requests.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design reviews to reinforce company standards.
Mentor Designers and engineers through coaching and feedback.
Maintain clear documentation across drawings, specs, and decisions logs.
Identify coordination risks early and surface workflow gaps.
Support pursuits with scope inputs and interview support.
Collaborate with Project Leads to align scope, sequencing, and coordination strategy.
