Job summary

TEECOM is seeking an Associate Principal to lead mid- to large-scale, multi-discipline projects with increasing independence. You will guide projects from programming through closeout, clarify requirements, coordinate design, and ensure deliverables meet TEECOM’s quality standards.

You’ll mentor Designers and engineers, contribute to training resources, and help develop client relationships while advancing discipline capability and firmwide workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AEC or related professional services with discipline-specific capability.
• Experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects.
• Proficient with Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design reviews that reinforce TEECOM standards and improve documentation.
• Mentor Designers and engineers through guidance, markups, and feedback.
• Contribute to discipline standards, workflows, and tools via Pull Requests and tutorials.
• Maintain clear documentation of decisions, assumptions, and client nuances across projects.
