Job summary

Revamp is seeking an Associate Principal Electrical Engineer to lead interconnection and power systems studies for utility-scale solar and storage across the U.S., with a focus on ensuring reliability and compliance. You will mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as a primary client contact across ISOs and utilities.

The role offers remote work from most US/Canada locations and a competitive compensation package with ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering (Power focus preferred).
• 8+ years of experience performing power system studies with a focus on generator and/or large load interconnection.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN and other relevant software.
• Strong working knowledge of interconnection processes across multiple ISOs and utilities.
• Strong technical writing skills, including preparation of formal submittals and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection projects across ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, MISO, SPP, NYISO, and utility and cooperative systems.
• Review ISO and utility study assumptions and results, identify issues, and direct responses or re-study requests.
• Create and oversee the preparation of reports and presentations describing studies performed and value delivered.
• Direct staff to complete assignments and mentor junior engineers.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate documents and activities across multiple major projects or an entire portfolio.
