Job summary

WuXi Biologics in the United States (Remote) seeks a Senior Director, Mid-Atlantic CMC to lead the orderly progression of projects from proposal through completion by coordinating with clients, the technical team and business development.

The role also involves participating in business development activities such as visiting existing or new clients and promoting WuXi Biologics’ services at conferences and trade shows.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemical or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading CMC activities for IND/BLA and regulatory interactions.
• Excellent communication and leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and portfolio leadership to support IND and BLA, enabling CMC activities.
• Collaborate with CMC functional areas to ensure successful execution of CMC projects and on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Provide strategic thinking and technical guidance for project teams in product development and manufacturing strategy; coordinate cross-functional efforts and client communication.
• Support corporate business development to promote WuXi Biologics’ services and develop new clients.
