Job summary

Humana seeks an Associate Director of Actuarial Pricing to set pricing assumptions, file bids, and obtain regulatory approvals for premium rates and rate certifications. You will support rate implementations, advise Product Development on cost impacts, and develop pricing tools for standard and custom benefits.

The role leads 2–3 Medicare Advantage regions, reviews MA bids for accuracy, supports forecasts, and collaborates cross-functionally. Manages 4–7 associates in total.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• 5 or more years of Medicare Advantage bid filing experience
• FSA or ASA or MAAA
• Experience in more than three functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending) and more than one product
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 Medicare Advantage regions
• Review individual MA bids for accuracy and compliance
• Support recurring forecasts and provide financial guidance to leadership
• Participate in cross functional work groups
• Manage 2-3 direct reports with total team size of 4-7 associates
