Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Actuary, Pricing to develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products. You will establish pricing assumptions, prepare bids, support rate filings and certifications, and help implement rates, new plans, and benefit changes.

You will advise on cost impact and build pricing tools, addressing complex actuarial challenges with cross-functional collaboration. The role reports to the Director, Actuarial Pricing and requires strong analytical judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• FSA or ASA plus advanced degree or relevant professional designations.
• MAAA designation preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in written and oral forms.
• Experience in more than two functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products.
• Establish pricing assumptions and prepare bids.
• Support regulatory rate filings and certifications.
• Advise Product Development on cost impact of new products and benefits.
• Develop tools for pricing standard and customized offerings.
