Job summary

Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. in Nevada is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our consumer protection practice. This role is remote, with occasional in-person filings as needed, and involves drafting pleadings and memoranda, case management, and liaising with our New York office.

The ideal candidate will be admitted in Nevada, have at least one year of law firm experience, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to handle a heavy workload while maintaining ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Nevada.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with management and staff at all levels.
• Legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload in Nevada.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract law and consumer law.
• Although based from home, travel to court appearances may be required.
