Job summary

Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our consumer-protection practice. This remote role requires Georgia bar admission, strong drafting and research skills, and the ability to manage a heavy workload with strict deadlines.

The attorney will draft pleadings and memoranda, handle civil litigation matters, and liaise with our New York office via email and Teams. Travel to Georgia-based court appearances is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Georgia.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant law-firm experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Ability to interact with senior management and staff.
• Proficiency in legal research; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy, diversified Georgia caseload.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Coordinate with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer-law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as needed; role is remote-based.
