Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. seeks an Associate Attorney to join our Illinois practice, with a remote-friendly setup and occasional court appearances.

The ideal candidate is admitted to the Illinois bar, has at least 1 year of law firm experience, and can handle pleadings, memos, and research across consumer protection matters while coordinating with our New York headquarters via phone and email.

Qualificações

• Active eligibility to practice law in Illinois (bar admission).
• At least 1 year of experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels.
• Legal research skills; LexisNexis experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and supervise a heavy, diversified Illinois client caseload.
• Communicate with clients regarding matters and updates.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer-law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as required, with remote work from home.
