Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our Michigan practice. The position is remote, with travel to courts as needed for appearances and hearings.

The ideal candidate is admitted in Michigan, has at least 1 year of experience, and will draft pleadings and memoranda, manage a heavy workload, and communicate with clients and opponents. This role supports a consumer protection focus from a home-based office.

Formación

• Admitted to practice law in Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with staff at all levels.
• Legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and supervise a heavy & diversified caseload of Michigan clients.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review/draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as needed.
