Job summary

Safeguard Law Group, PLLC., a consumer protection law firm, seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join our Hawaii practice remotely. The role involves drafting pleadings and legal memoranda, and communicating with the main office by email/Teams.

The position requires a Hawaii bar admission and a minimum of one year of experience, with a strong emphasis on organization and writing. While primarily based from home, the role may require travel for in-court appearances and regular coordination

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Hawaii.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels of staff.
• Legal research proficiency; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a heavy and diversified caseload in Hawaii.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Interact with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer-law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as needed.
