Job summary

Safeguard Law Group in New York City seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join our practice in Hawaii. This remote role requires admission to the Hawaii bar and a willingness to handle a heavy workload across consumer protection litigation and transactional matters.

You will draft pleadings and memoranda, manage client communications, and collaborate with our national office by phone and email. Travel to in-court appearances may be required; compensation is $90,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Currently admitted to practice law in Hawaii.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant law firm experience.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with management and staff.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy and diversified caseload in Hawaii.
• Communicating with clients regarding matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, reviewing and drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve claims.
• Legal research on contract and consumer law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances.
