Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Hawaii.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels.
• Strong legal research skills; proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload of Hawaii clients.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research related to contract law and consumer protection issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as required.
