Job summary

NACBA seeks an Associate Attorney for Hawaii, handling a broad consumer-protection caseload from a home-based setting with travel for in-court appearances and coordination with our New York office via email and Teams.

The ideal candidate is admitted to the Hawaii Bar, can draft pleadings and memoranda, manage heavy workloads, and demonstrate superb written and oral communication, organization, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Hawaii.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels.
• Proficient legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the Firm’s clients in Hawaii.
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
