Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to handle consumer-protection matters from a remote Kansas role. You will draft pleadings and memoranda, manage a heavy caseload, and communicate with clients via phone and email while coordinating with the New York HQ.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of firm experience, strong writing and research skills, and impeccable ethics. Travel for in-court appearances is required. This role is open to Kansas-residents.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Kansas.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis proficiency a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and supervise a heavy, diversified caseload in Kansas.
• Communicate with clients regarding matters and provide updates.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review/draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer-law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as needed.
