The role involves handling a heavy caseload, drafting pleadings and memos, and frequent client communication, while coordinating with our New York headquarters via telephone and email. The ideal candidate will be Florida-admitted, with at least 1 year of law-firm experience, and strong organizational and research skills.

Qualifications

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of Florida clients.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to contract law and other consumer law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances may be required.
