Job summary

Safeguard Law Group, PLLC seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join our consumer protection practice. This remote position supports Florida matters, with responsibilities including drafting pleadings, legal memoranda, and client communications.

Ideal candidates are admitted in Florida, with at least one year of law firm experience, strong organizational and written/oral communication skills, and the ability to handle a heavy workload while maintaining professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the Florida bar.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels.
• Strong legal research skills — LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the Firm’s clients in Florida.
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law.
• Travel for in court appearances.
