This role focuses on consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation. Headquarters are in New York, so communication with the main office is via email and phone from your remote role in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Travel for in-court appearances is required.
• Located in or commutable to Warren, MI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy diversified caseload in Michigan.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve claims.
• Legal research related to contract and consumer law.
• Travel for in-court appearances.
