Job summary

Veracity Insurance Solutions, LLC invites an experienced Assistant Controller to work remotely from the United States. You will maintain accurate financial records, perform month-end close, manage carrier reporting and bordereaux reconciliation, and supervise accounts payable workflows.

Collaboration across Data, Finance, Product, and Program teams is essential to ensure compliant reporting and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years accounting experience including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
• Insurance industry experience required.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Own carrier reporting and bordereaux reconciliation for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data, Finance, Product and Program to resolve issues.
• Lead improvements using technology, automation, and AI.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage journal entries and month-end close processes.
• Review and approve AP invoices and payment requests.
