SAFARI Montage is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a hands-on, remote role with a growth path to Controller within 1 year.

Eastern Time business hours are required; candidates in specific states are preferred. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a pathway to senior finance leadership, with a salary of $130,000 to $160,000 per year and a focus on ASC 842/606 compliance, tax

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent experience.
• CPA certification a plus and preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.

Responsabilidades

• Direct preparation of budget and forecasting processes.
• Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company activity and financial position.
• Manage cash flow projections and month-end closing entries.
• Oversee monthly operational reports and financial analysis.
• Administer bank reconciliation and tax filings (sales & use tax).
• Interface with outside tax accountants and support ad hoc financial analysis.
