Job summary

A leading national logistics provider is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage the financial operations of a rapidly scaling organization. This remote position requires expertise in handling massive datasets, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field, and advanced Excel skills. Competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 annually along with excellent benefits including full medical coverage and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience required.
• Familiarity with automation and data integrity processes expected.

Responsibilities

• Own the full month-end close cycle and identify bottlenecks.
• Manage logic and reconciliation for high-volume datasets.
• Supervise and develop a team of two Staff Accountants.
• Lead GAAP initiatives focusing on lease accounting.
• Act as the liaison between Accounting and IT.
