Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Asset Protection professional to manage AP initiatives across 4–8 stores and support stores in the Long Island, NY area. The role requires strong communication and decision-making to reduce shrink and protect assets.

The candidate should have a 4-year degree (preferred) and 2+ years in asset protection or retail, with willingness to work nights and weekends. Remote-friendly within the U.S. and background check completion are required.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Asset Protection or retail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate circumstances and decide per guidelines.
• Willingness to work nights, evenings and weekends.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Wicklander– Zulawski interview training preferred.
• Must fulfill all physical requirements including standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Execute Asset Protection initiatives in assigned locations (4–8 stores).
• Partner with local store management to meet AP objectives.
• Leverage sales data to identify shrink reduction opportunities.
• Train store associates on approved AP initiatives and workshops.
• Conduct operational audits for pre-shrink indicators and safety.
• Provide training on safety guidelines and crisis protocols.
• Monitor controls and conduct investigations of dishonesty.
• Investigate inventory, cash loss and policy violations.
• Conduct surveillance to deter theft per company policies.
• Support Organized Retail Crime investigations with local law enforcement.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Regional AP Manager.
