Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Asset Protection professional to lead loss-prevention initiatives across 4–8 stores in the Long Island, NY area, including nights and weekends. You will partner with store leadership, perform operational audits, and conduct investigations to protect inventory and assets.

The role requires strong communication skills, a 4-year degree (preferred) and 2+ years in AP or retail, along with reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years in Asset Protection or retail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work nights, evenings and weekends.
• Background check required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Execute Asset Protection initiatives in 4–8 stores.
• Partner with store management to meet AP objectives.
• Leverage performance data for shortage reduction.
• Train store associates on safety guidelines and protocols.
• Audit operations, pre-shrink indicators, and safety compliance.
• Conduct investigations and interviews for inventory loss.
• Surveil to deter theft and identify dishonesty.
• Coordinate with ORC Investigator and local law enforcement.
• Complete special projects from Regional Manager of Asset Protection.
