Job summary

Cable One is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to maintain lease accounting schedules and ensure ASC 842 compliance. You will gain a deep understanding of the end-to-end lease process, work with cross-functional stakeholders, and support reporting needs.

Responsibilities include journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with audit activities. The role emphasizes staying updated on evolving standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules under ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting process and stakeholders.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects as requested by leadership.
• Keeps current on FASB/SEC/PCAOB standards affecting reporting.
