Job summary

The role is remote for qualified US applicants, with a salary range between $83,250 and $130,000, plus Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in IT with AS400 applications.
• Hands-on AS400 environments experience.
• RPG and COBOL/400 programming expertise.
• Experience with CLLE and SQLRPGLE.
• DB2/400 experience.
• Delivery leadership across onshore/offshore teams.
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and hands-on coding across AS400, COBOL, RPG, and CL environments, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
• Lead and manage cross-functional technical teams, driving productivity, capacity planning, and delivery governance across onshore and offshore models.
• Act as the primary stakeholder interface, resolving dependencies and securing sign-offs on extracted business rules.
• Provide executive status reporting to leadership, including progress, risks, financials, and mitigation plans.
