Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an AS400 Technical Lead – COBOL & RPG to deliver end-to-end solutions across AS400 environments. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage dependencies with client SMEs, and provide executive status updates to leadership.

Requirements include 9+ years in IT, strong AS400 and programming for RPG and COBOL/400, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400, with solid stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of IT experience with AS400 applications.
• Hands-on experience with AS400 environments.
• Strong programming with RPG and COBOL/400.
• Experience with CLLE.
• Experience with SQLRPGLE.
• Experience with DB2/400.
• Experience leading technical delivery and cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end delivery and hands-on coding across AS400 environments (COBOL, RPG, CL) ensuring scope, quality and timelines.
• Lead cross-functional technical teams; drive productivity, capacity planning and delivery governance (onshore/offshore).
• Act as primary stakeholder interface with client SMEs, resolve dependencies, secure sign-offs on business rules.
• Provide clear executive status reporting to leadership including progress, risks, financials, and mitigations.
