Cognizant is seeking an AS400 Technical Lead – COBOL & RPG to drive end-to-end delivery across AS400 environments. You will balance hands-on development with delivery governance, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams and stakeholders to meet scope, quality, and timelines.
Responsibilities include leading technical delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and acting as the primary interface with client SMEs, while providing clear executive status, risks, and mitigation plans.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of IT experience with AS400 applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with AS400 environments.
- Proficient in RPG and COBOL/400 programming.
- Experience with CLLE.
- Experience with SQLRPGLE.
- Experience with DB2/400.
- Experience leading technical delivery and cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills.
Responsabilités
- Own end-to-end delivery and hands-on coding across AS400, COBOL, RPG, and CL environments.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams across onshore and offshore delivery.
- Interface with client SMEs, resolve dependencies, and secure sign-offs on business rules.
- Provide executive status reporting on progress, risks, and financials.
