Job summary

American Heritage Lending, LLC seeks an Area Sales Manager to lead the Correspondent Sales team and drive mortgage lending growth. You will recruit, hire, and train staff, originate quality loans, and maintain broker relationships while ensuring exceptional service.

This role emphasizes coaching, forecasting, and collaboration with corporate departments to meet production goals, in a remote-capable, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years wholesale mortgage lending management experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proven negotiating skills and forecasting capabilities.
• Ability to conduct and attend web meetings and conference calls including presentations.
• Basic knowledge Non-QM; Bridge, DSCR-Business Purpose, Fix/Flip
• Strong level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Proficient with Encompass/LON.
• Ability to attend trade shows & seminars as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the goal-oriented Correspondent Sales team and the sales function in an Area or Territory as directed by National Sales Manager-Correspondent Lending.
• Recruit, hire, and train the sales team.
• Originating quality loans that sell – personal production.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers.
• Provide superior level of customer service to brokers/sources and communicate results to leadership.
• Coach, motivate and support the Sales Team to meet production goals and ensure proficiency with systems.
