First American Bank seeks a Mortgage Broker Sales Manager to lead and expand relationships with mortgage brokers and drive new business through strategic sales initiatives and referrals. This officer-level role focuses on coaching, program education, and market outreach.

You will manage broker reviews, coordinate events, and provide data-driven insights to senior management while traveling locally and occasionally out-of-state to foster partnerships and brand visibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in mortgage sales or related field.
• Professional communication skills for external and internal contacts with tailored messaging.
• Strong written communication and grammar; maintain professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to balance organizational and customer interests with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain long-term partnerships with mortgage brokers to drive business growth.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through sales, marketing, and referrals.
• Educate brokers on loan submission procedures, underwriting, programs, and compliance.
• Update brokers on changes to bank programs via email, calls, or in-person visits.
• Supervise sales support staff and conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Develop tracking reports for senior management to support strategic decisions.
• Attend broker locations and, up to 75% local travel, participate in industry events.
