Engage Hospitality LLC, based in Alameda, is seeking an Area Sales Manager for a remote position in Northern California. You will lead direct sales for select service, upscale, and boutique hotels, collaborating with on-site teams to achieve budgeted results and expand the client base.

The role requires a self-motivated, entrepreneurial salesperson capable of multi-tasking and building strong relationships with accounts. Some weekend/evening work and local travel are expected.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hotel sales capacity.
• Proficient in MS Word and Outlook.
• Ability to deliver a high level of customer service, build relationships and close profitable sales leads.
• Some weekend and evening work may apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales efforts for our select service, upscale and boutique hotels.
• Interact with on-site managers, reservations, operations, and accounting to meet budgeted results.
• Solicit new business and maintain existing accounts in specified markets.
• Prepare and follow through of projects assigned by leadership.
• Input information into the database with follow up and tracing.
• Maintain organized files with key contacts, production, and opportunities.
• Make telemarketing calls and conduct site inspections as needed.
• Attend trade shows and weekly sales meetings.
