Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant claims leadership experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience within a claims environment.
• Experience managing claims operations with strong customer service expectations.
• Proven success coaching frontline employees, including performance management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills and multi-priority management.
• Strong data analytics experience using Power BI for decision-making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with travel ~40% statewide in MT and ID.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of crop insurance adjusters across Montana and Southern Idaho.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, performance management, and career development support.
• Oversee claims operations for timely, accurate, and customer-focused handling.

• Monitor workloads, allocate resources, and support staffing decisions.
• Review claim activity and escalate complex situations as needed.
• Partner with Claims Management to identify process improvements.
• Deliver training and best practices adoption for claims processes and tools.
• Build strong relationships with agents, customers, and internal partners.
• Travel ~40% statewide to support field staff and coaching activities.
