ProAg in the United States is seeking an Area Claims Supervisor to lead Crop Insurance Adjusters across Ohio, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant claims handling.

The role oversees performance, training, workload, and LAE management while coordinating with Claims Management, Compliance, and Underwriting. Occasional travel required; remote, field-based team leadership.

Bachelor’s in agriculture, CAPP, and 3+ years crop insurance experience preferred; salary $80k-$95k with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field is preferred.
• Current CAPP certification is required.
• At least three years of crop insurance experience in Claims or Compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of adjusting practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, train, and evaluate Crop Insurance Adjusters across Ohio.
• Oversee claims handling for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Assign claims, review work, assist with reserves, escalate complex cases.
• Partner with management, compliance, and underwriting to support objectives.
• Monitor LAE, staffing, workload, and adjust claims structure as needed.
• Serve as primary contact for agent inquiries and issue resolution.
• Develop and deliver adjuster training and promote best practices.
• Model ProAg values and maintain professional communication.
