Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Area Business Manager for Gastroenterology to remotely manage an assigned US geography. You will engage gastroenterology clinicians, present clinically focused messages, and drive brand growth for EoE indications while meeting product goals in a compliant manner.

The role requires 2+ years in life sciences sales, a bachelor’s degree, strong collaboration, and significant travel (60–75%). Fleet safety training and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience or other relevant life science or clinical experience.
• Ability to travel to meetings, trainings, and programs as necessary; travel approximately 60–75% within the region.
• Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity within compliance guidelines.
• Ability to operate as a team player with internal colleagues and collaboration partners.
• Valid Driver’s License and fleet safety training completed.

Responsibilities

• Engage Gastroenterology customers in assigned geography with clinically focused messaging to grow revenue.
• Coordinate with Medical Specialists, MSLs, and Market Access teams to align strategies.
• Develop relationships with gastroenterology experts, office staff, and coordinators.
• Drive opportunities and develop strategic plans to increase product utilization.
• Plan and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
• Maximize geo-budget to support strategies and tactics.
• Participate in industry congresses, meetings, and conferences as needed.
• Own business opportunities within the geography, targeting private groups and large practices.
• Build relationships with thought leaders to drive customer value.
