Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Manufacturer's Representative for the Southern California market in a remote role spanning Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. You will drive architectural specifications for commercial paint products and color tools, meeting with owners, architects, and designers to generate specifications and color schedules for new and renovated commercial buildings.

You will report to the Specification Area Manager, with primary emphasis on new construction

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in outside sales.
• High School Diploma required.
• Interior Design Degree or equivalent experience to influence Architectural Specifications.
• Strong presentation skills and proficiency in front of diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Focus on new construction with some renovations.
• Project tracking, planning, and milestone setting.
• Call on firms influencing product specifications for commercial spaces.
• Build relationships to establish PPC as preferred manufacturer for projects.
• Discuss product systems and color schedules with specification writers and designers.
