Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Manufacturer's Representative for the Southern California market. You will drive specifications for commercial paint products and color tools, meeting owners, architects, designers, and general contractors to grow PPC's share on new and existing projects.

This remote role covers Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego, reporting to the Specification Area Manager. Travel and on-site presentations are key to securing specifications and color schedules for

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Interior Design Degree or equivalent experience to influence Architectural Specifications.
• Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Focus on new construction with some renovations.
• Project tracking, planning, milestones, and task allocation.
• Call on firms who influence specifications for commercial spaces.
• Build relationships to influence project specifications as an approved manufacturer.
• Address product systems and color schemes in discussions with spec writers and designers.
