Job summary

dormakaba Americas is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to work remotely from within Virginia (Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Suffolk, or Norfolk). You will promote dormakaba’s North American product portfolio to architectural firms, design-build firms, and government architects, with a strong focus on building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in construction management, architectural design, or related fields.
• CDT and DHC certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within territory.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers and stakeholders at varying levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term architectural customers by creating relationships with architects’ clients and lead specification managers.
• Develop short- and long-term project pipelines to actively pursue with architectural firms.
• Network with architects and industry leaders through CSI, AIA, and DHI events and other opportunities.
• Collaborate with the local territory team to ensure coverage for completed specifications.
