Job summary

EXP is seeking an Archaeologist (Remote) to manage cultural resource surveys for energy-related projects across the United States. You will oversee subcontractors, ensure NEPA and FERC-compliant reporting, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, delivering accurate documentation and timely results.

Ideal candidates hold a BA in Anthropology or Archaeology (MA preferred) with 5+ years of cultural resources data management experience, and strong communication skills for written and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology with 5+ years in cultural resources data management.
• Experience managing cultural resource surveys and subcontractors.
• Ability to produce NEPA/FERC-compliant documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage cultural field surveys for energy-related projects.
• Manage cultural resource survey subcontractors and firms assigned to project phases.
• Oversee cultural resource reporting for Section 106 NHPA.
• Ensure accuracy of documents per NEPA and FERC guidelines.
• Meet project deadlines and communicate effectively.
