Job summary

Simera is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to prepare and process invoices, record customer payments, and monitor aging and due dates. You will resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries while supporting month-end close from a remote environment in the United States.

The role requires experience in AR/billing, familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems, and the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or bookkeeping.
• Experience processing invoices and customer payments.
• Familiar with account adjustments and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of collections processes and aging reporting.
• Comfort working in a remote environment and communicating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Enter and update customer payments in accounting systems.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, balances, and due dates.
• Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and balances.
• Prepare aging reports and payment summaries.
• Assist with collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
