Connections Health Solutions is a leading provider of behavioral health crisis care. The Accounts Resolution Specialist role focuses on thorough insurance billing, proactive follow-up, and denial management to support financial health.

The position is fully remote, with requirements including 2+ years of claims follow-up, 2+ years of denial management, and 5+ years in physician/facility billing within a behavioral health setting. A Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up experience.
• 2 years of claim denial management experience.
• 5 years of experience in physician and/or facility business office.
• Remote-work experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field.
• 5 years of physician/facility billing/auditing in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Follows up on required daily accounts based on leadership assignments to reduce the A/R.
• Performs timely and accurate validation of denied claims and determines appropriate denial resolution; utilizes WAYSTAR to submit appeal letters and payer documentation on unpaid/underpaid claims.
• Prioritizes work to increase efficiency in the collections process.
• Documents action taken toward account resolution within Avatar and WAYSTAR using standardized notes.
• Assists billing with determining the proper disposition of or replies to incoming mail and other correspondence.
