Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist to ensure proper billing and timely reimbursement. You will follow up with insurance companies, process denials, and help streamline the AR workflow in a fully remote capacity across multiple states.

The role requires extensive knowledge of insurance billing, follow-up and appeals, with strong customer service and communication to patients, payers, and internal staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up
• 2 years of claim denial management
• 5 years of experience in a physician/facility business office
• 1 year of experience working in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Follows up on daily accounts to reduce A/R.
• Validates denied claims and determines resolution (authorization/retro authorization/precertification).
• Submit appeal letters and required documentation using WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize work to improve collections process efficiency.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standardized notes.
• Meet productivity requirements set by the department.
• Communicate opportunities with leadership using SBAR format.
• Participate in AR reduction initiatives.
