Job summary

Connections Health Solutions, a crisis-focused behavioral health provider, seeks an Accounts Resolution Specialist. You will manage insurance billing follow-up, appeals, and denial resolution to support financial viability.

This remote role covers multiple US states and requires strict adherence to billing processes and patient communications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in insurance claims follow-up, denial management, and a background in physician or facility billing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up.
• 2 years of claim denial management.
• 5 years of experience within a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1 year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Must be fully vaccinated or exempt per policy.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on required daily accounts to reduce A/R as assigned by leadership.
• Validate denied claims and determine resolution, including authorization/precertification.
• Submit appeal letters and required documentation using WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize work to improve collections efficiency.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standard notes.
• Meet productivity targets within the department.
• Communicate opportunities with leadership using SBAR format.
• Coordinate with CHS leadership and participate in AR reduction initiatives.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with correspondence as directed.
