Lifepoint Health in the United States is seeking a Manager, Accounts Receivable to lead AR operations within the Centralized Business Office for behavioral health services. You will oversee billing, payment posting, and follow-up across multiple facilities and payers, driving timely reimbursements and compliance.

This role requires building staff capability, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with Utilization Review and facility Business Office Managers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field from an accredited school.
• 4 years of experience in medical billing/accounts receivable management.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Oversee billing, collections, and AR follow-up for multiple facilities across payer types.
• Develop AR strategy with focus on performance, revenue cycle initiatives, and denial management.
• Monitor AR metrics and ensure timely reconciliations and adjustments.
• Provide guidance to AR staff and address escalated payer issues and patient inquiries.
• Administer payer portals and ensure security and staff efficiency.
• Support month-end AR close activities and variance resolution.
• Collaborate with Utilization Review and facility Business Office Managers on AR needs.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance reviews for AR staff.
• Maintain compliance with laws, payer requirements, and internal policies.
