Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation in the United States is seeking an experienced accounts receivable manager responsible for the billing process and census related financial activities. You will oversee AR workflows, establish quality controls, recruit and train staff, and collaborate with corporate management on special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum three years in corporate-based long-term care bookkeeping or five+ years in business office management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage the workflow of the accounts receivable department.
• Establish quality control standards for each function.
• Recruit, hire and train new accounts receivable staff.
• Review performance for assigned staff in a timely, professional manner.
• Support Billing Coordinators by responding to center-level requests and issues.
• Coordinate all special projects from corporate management.
• Advise corporate financial managers on accounting issues needing attention by center bookkeepers.
• Ensure critical deadlines are met, assisting with billing when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
