Job summary

RYZ Labs is a startup studio with a distributed team across the US and LatAm, seeking an AR/AP accountant to support a fast-growing American disaster recovery business with a focus on collections. You will own AR aging, make collections calls, generate invoices, post payments, and assist FP&A, reporting to the FP&A Analyst and collaborating with the Nashville-based Controller and CFO.

Requirements include 2+ years in accounting or AR/AP with direct collections experience, excellent English,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or AR/AP experience with direct collections experience.
• Excellent English and high accuracy under pressure.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own AR aging, make collections calls, and resolve payment issues with adjusters and carriers.
• Generate invoices, post payments, and cash application.
• Process payroll entries, prepare accruals, bank and credit card reconciliations, and support FP&A.
