The seat handles AR/AP accuracy, collections, reconciliations, and close support across three entities, using QuickBooks as the primary system of record. This is a full-time freelancer role for a 3-month trial, work-from-home, with potential renewal and benefits if extended.

Qualifications

• College or university graduate in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of dedicated AR/AP corporate accounting experience; strong B2B collections.
• Expert reconciliation across platforms and structured data; high-volume handling.

Responsibilities

• AR/AP transaction accuracy and processing integrity across multiple entities.
• Record and process AR invoices and AP bills using QuickBooks.
• Process approved bills for payment from operating accounts.
• Data management: enter and process structured data files on time.
• Monitor AR aging and conduct proactive outreach on past-due balances.
• Perform weekly AR/AP reconciliations and assist monthly close.
• Intercompany billing, prepaid balance reconciliation, and period-end close support.
