Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivables Analyst to join our growing team. You will manage discrepancy resolution, process payments, and support Account Managers across multiple offices. Remote options are available with on-site consideration in Brentwood, TN.

You will handle operating/trust account exceptions, perform daily reconciliations, and assist with aged receivables and ad hoc projects. Strong customer service and accounting software proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Insurance accounting experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; 2+ years in AR or related role.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

Discrepancy resolution: identify and resolve discrepancies prior to funds application.
Handle operating and trust account exceptions with proper documentation.
Identify payments and apply them accurately to accounts; daily reconciliation.
Process finance agreements for funding per procedures.
Handle portal tickets and response to inquiries in a timely manner.
Facilitate interoffice bank transfers and monitor aged receivables.
Provide backup support during peak workloads and participate in ad hoc projects.
