Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking an Accounts Receivables Analyst to join our growing team. The role focuses on resolving discrepancies, processing finance agreements, and reconciling daily payments to ensure accurate accounting.

You will support operating and trust account processes and collaborate with Account Managers and team members across offices. The ideal candidate has experience in insurance accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and 2+ years in accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• Insurance accounting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounts receivable or related financial analysis experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Discrepancy resolution: identify and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions before applying funds.
• Handle operating and trust account exceptions with proper resolution and documentation.
• Identify payments and apply to accounts; reconcile daily payment packets.
• Process finance agreements for funding per procedures.
• Handle portal tickets and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Facilitate interoffice bank transfers with proper documentation and compliance.
• Monitor and manage aged receivables and resolve issues.
• Provide backup support during peaks or absences and assist with ad hoc projects.
