Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• Government accounting, JAMIS and Deltek Costpoint experience preferred.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Verify payment and invoice information is correct before distribution; receive, process, and post incoming payments.
• Generate and process commissions; verify fee structures and confirm monthly terms.
• Create monthly reports on delinquent accounts, aging accounts receivable, and contingent liabilities; process employee expense reports.
• Collect and post documentation to accounting and billing systems; verify accuracy.
• Work to recover debts owed, including accounts written off.
• Manage relationships with collection and credit reporting agencies and credit insurers.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Exchange information clearly and check for understanding.
