Job summary

Ladder is seeking a SecOps/AppSec Engineer who blends application security engineering with risk management. You will own vulnerability management across development lifecycles, focusing on Clojure-based backend and JVM stack, while monitoring cloud security posture and supporting audits.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software security, hands-on Clojure, and experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and incident response. This remote role allows flexible work within the US.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software engineering and/or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on coding in Clojure and JVM environment.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructures and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead application security vulnerability management within development lifecycles.
• Monitor and tune cloud security posture using security tools (SIEM/SOAR/CSP/CNAPP).
• Conduct security risk reviews and support audits.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding practices.
