Job summary

Ladder is seeking an SecOps/AppSec Engineer to own app security in development lifecycles. You will manage vulnerability mgmt, monitor cloud posture, and work with engineers on code-level fixes in Clojure/JVM.

You bring 4+ years in software or cybersecurity, hands-on Clojure, JVM, and cloud security (GCP, Kubernetes). Remote role in CA with strong problem solving and writing skills; no OPT/H1-B sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering or cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on coding in Clojure and JVM environments.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure and incident response.
• Ability to review security risk and support audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead app security vulnerability management across development lifecycles.
• Monitor cloud security posture and respond to alerts.
• Conduct security reviews of internal architectures and APIs.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding practices.
